Begin at the Beginning...

Welcome to the first ever post In the Life And Times of Jasmine J.

I'm just finishing up a 3 month midwifery program with mercy in action, and I'll be heading to the Philippines at the end of the month to do the practical portion of my studies.

There are going to be many, many changes in my life from here on out, so I thought that now would be a good time to document it.

The thing about life is that you hardly ever see all of the steps you're going to take, you usually just see your starting point and ending point (sometimes you don't even know where you're going to end up.) but that's the way it tends be - no matter how much you would like to have everything planned out.
