What does it mean to live a life of purpose in a post-modern world? How does it look to live a life that's right before God, from day to day, when we're right in the middle of it, and when the struggle is, in fact, very real? I'm on a journey to find the answers to these questions... You're invited to come along.

Philippines day 3
I'm here ! I landed in manilla on Wednesday , stayed in a hotel and took the bus to olongapo the next day. Everyone drives 2 two inches away from each other, but I haven't seen any crashes so far. I'm amazed. I'm living At the clinic with 3 other students . Everyone is really nice and i think i'm going to enjoy the next 2 months and be sorry to leave.Yesterday I shadowed one of the midwives while she did prenatals. Today I dipped someone's urine, which was interesting. She had + 3 leukocytes and was positive for nitrites, so we gave her antibiotics for a UTI. In the US, you can only get antibiotics by prescription, but here we can get them over the counter. It's really nice, because we don't have to send the woman to a doctor for an exam an prescription, so we're able to give antibiotics free of charge.
