Disaster preparedness and maternal and newborn survival , day 3

I'm at a disaster preparedness and maternal and child survival class taught by the Penwells.
We learned about safe river crossing techniques and knot tying this morning. We took a break for lunch, after which we practiced listening to lung sounds with a stethoscope and doing percussion to loosen flem. It was part of the section on childhood pneumonia..
Postural drainage with percussion can be extremely effective in the case of cystic fibrosis.
